Kenya Fruit Export To Arabia Gulf:
Kenya is known for its diverse and bountiful agricultural industry…
and the export of fruits to Middle Eastern countries is no exception.
With a growing demand for fresh produce in the region, Kenya has become a major supplier of fruits such as avocados, pineapples, and mangoes.
One of the main reasons for Kenya’s success in exporting fruits to the Middle East is…
- Its ideal climate and soil conditions.
The country’s equatorial location and high elevation provide the perfect environment for growing a wide variety of fruits.
- Additionally, Kenya has a long history of cultivating fruits, dating back to the days of the East African coast trade.
- Another factor contributing to Kenya’s success in exporting fruits to the Middle East is the country’s commitment to sustainable and responsible farming practices.
Many Kenyan farmers use organic and eco-friendly methods to grow their fruits, which not only benefits the environment but also results in higher quality produce.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Kenya’s fruit exports to the Middle East have remained strong.
In fact, many Middle Eastern countries have turned to Kenya as a reliable source of fresh produce during the pandemic.
The Kenyan government has also been actively promoting the country’s fruit exports to the Middle East through various initiatives.
For example, the government has been working to improve infrastructure and logistics in order to make it easier for Kenyan farmers to export their fruits.
Additionally, the government has been promoting Kenya as a tourism destination, which has helped to increase demand for Kenyan fruits in the Middle East.
Overall, Kenya’s fruit exports to the Middle East are a shining example of the country’s thriving agricultural industry.
With its ideal climate, commitment to sustainable farming practices, and government support, Kenya is well-positioned to continue exporting high-quality fruits to the Middle East for many years to come.
Fruit Exporters Agree Kenyan Fruits Have a High Demand In The Arabian Gulf..
Here’s the Story of Adil Madani.
Kenya’s avocado, pineapple, and mango fruits are receiving a good welcome in the Arabian Gulf countries, says Mr. Adil Madani, head of the Adel Almadni Group based in Mombasa.
The exporter ships its fruits to Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
This strong demand for Kenyan exotic fruits in the Arabian Gulf is explained, according to Mr. Madani, by the geographical proximity:
“I get very low transport rates, which allows me to offer affordable prices”.
As for the quality, Mr. Madani explains that he selects the fruits he exports, and only ships fruits of good quality and caliber:
“I started this activity recently, and my goal is to satisfy my customers”.
The exporter says he is open to trade with customers in Europe if he receives requests:
“So far, I have worked with customers in the Arab Gulf, but I can make available any volume needed and start exporting to Europe”.
