She lauded the initiative by Mark-Up in ensuring that fruit farmers undergo proper training, availing certified seeds and more so, monitoring its growth to maturity.
All these, she says to ensure that the quality of the fruits is acceptable and will attract more profits from the international market.
A move that has been welcomed by Reuben Seroney, Chief Agricultural Officer, Uasin Gishu County.
“The Mark-Up training has beneficial to our farmers.
Most of our passion fruits goes to other countries.
We normally export to Uganda, and even European countries,” he said
